ALTERED VIEWS – An Exploration of Photographic Processes, Techniques, Substrates and Presentation highlights the results of each member’s unique and uncommon approaches during all stages of the photographic process: at the moment of capture using filters, infrared, and unique subject matter and composition; in post-production through compositing, digital painting, and effects; at the print stage using metal, specialty papers, canvas and other substrates; or through custom presentation and framing techniques.
The exhibit, Altered Views opened on Friday, September 26 at The Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson, WI. Featuring seventeen works from 10 award-winning photographers, along with an 18 minute slideshow of select images.
