I held a “Photo Safari” workshop in Grand Marais over the weekend with 5 students and their families. We photographed from before sunrise to after sunset, trying to catch the Milky Way. After the Golden Hour in the morning, we hiked the trails to photograph the waterfalls and also my “model” posing as a fly fisherman (he is my nephew). The sunrises and sunsets were different for the 4 days we were there, the stars and Milky Way were also quite awesome. Besides all the photo shooting, we managed to have some fun resting by the lake drinking wine and just enjoying the spectacular surroundings.
