Riding a saddle bronc is the classic event in the sport of rodeo. It is a real challenge for the cowboy to stay on a big, bucking horse for eight seconds gripping nothing but a buck rein. The horse changes direction in fractions of a second, rising, falling and turning at dramatic angles, every muscle stretched to its limit. The tonality and luminance of the image are adjusted through the creation of duplicate layers of the original image. These duplicates are then processed by adjusting color, texture and detail. Multiple layers of these variations are made into a composite to complete the finished image. From a Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association event.
